All of our classes are designed with safety in mind. We take extensive measures to ensure that the risk associated with defensive training never outweighs the benefits . All classes begin with a safety briefing followed by a medical plan. Every one of our courses has an instructor that is trained in CPR and basic trauma care. An AED and trauma kit is always present at our classes and everyone will be familiar with the emergency plan before a shot is fired.

Although we cannot predict the weather, we do everything we can to assure your physical comfort at a class. Moreover, we are concerned with your inner comfort as attending a firearms class with strangers can be an anxious experience. We offer a friendly atmosphere without sarcasm or judgment. We want you to learn!!

Tactics, Techniques and Principles have shelf life. When you attend a GTI program you are getting the latest and what we believe is the best information available. We are always evolving! Instructors should have the integrity to change their minds when new information becomes available.

The subject of firearms can draw lines in the sand both politically and socially for some. At GTI, we love that God made us all different, with different views and ideas, backgrounds and interests. We serve people and welcome you no matter who you are or what you believe.
