Critical Defensive Handgun Skills

This course focuses on efficient integration with the handgun in the context of a Critical Self Defense Incident. 

 This one day eight (8) hour course is intended to give the experienced defensive shooter a thorough understanding of emergency handgun manipulation and non-typical shooting positions. Minimum 350 rounds needed.

THIS IS A PHYSICALLY DEMANDING COURSE! THOSE ATTENDING MUST HAVE COMPLETED CRITICAL HANDGUN ESSENTIALS OR A COMPARABLE COURSE.

As Red Dot Sights on pistols become more popular as options for carry weapons, many will mount them to their pistol and completely neglect the responsibility to be properly trained on their use.

The GunTeachers Institute Red Dot Sight Pistol Essentials Class is geared towards the shooter who has incorporated a electronic red dot sight to their pistol for defensive or performance use.

Critical Defensive Carbine Skills

This class, is designed to give the student a technical and tactical foundation necessary for deploying the AR-15 Carbine safely and effectively in a personal or home defense situation. Emphasis is placed on safe and efficient carbine manipulation as well as judgment in the use of deadly force. 

The Gunteachers Fundamentals of Concealed Carry Class is conducted in a blended online/in-person format. Those choosing to take this course for their Ohio Concealed Carry Permit will be prompted to create a profile on the GTI website.  Access will be granted to the student portal once registration is complete. Students will complete the online content in the student portal prior to their scheduled in-person shooting date.

This 4-5 hours course teaches introductory level fundamentals critical to developing a skill-set for defending yourself against an attacker wielding a weapon. Students will learn how to effectively transition to accessing their weapon while remaining in control of it. 

The techniques in this course are geared towards any skill level or physical condition and are conducted in a standing position. 

Basic Trauma Care for Civilian and LE!

GunTeachers Institute Trauma Care  Essentials is a course geared towards the armed or every day citizen or professional who desires to obtain a fundamental knowledge of Basic Trauma Care Skills. The course is 3 – 4 hours in length and focuses on recognizing and controlling mass arterial bleeding.
